jo86's Journal  Grad was actually really great, wierd, but great. Stared the day off by straightening my hair (can't wear a grad hat with curly fuzzy hair) it was fun cause Kelsey one of my roommates was gradding also so we got ready together and went to the church together Got to the church and put on our grad gowns, i got to wear red because i was a 2 year grad, the first years wore black and the BA's got to wear blue. It was weird in the fact that it wasn't like gradding with all your friends because it was just people from school, i only had Kelsey, Kyle, Steve, Cam, and some ECE girls that were really my friends there so that was wierd The ceremony was very offical with speeches, and awards and all that jazz. Got to walk across the stage and shake hands with the president of CBC and smile for some pictures My mom and dad came out along with my grandparents and then Gill, and Joel came out too. After i went out for lunch with the family and got some grad gifts, it pays off to graduate!!! then went back to the apartment and Gill, kelsey, kyle and me watched Pirates untill us girls had to get ready for the dinner banquet. All kiye had to do was put some water in his hair, oh to be a boy! Kelseys parents were meeting her so Kyle escorted me to the banquet, sweet boy. The banquet was good, more speeches, fancy red carpet and really yummy food. and that was grad! Monday Alsion and i went to arobics and then a girl there invited us over for smoothies and the last period of the hockey game so that was fun. But then after we left we were stupid because we were like "lets go get coffee at tim hortons" WELL! South Fraser was INSANE with Canuck fans, and we were in the middle of it! it became a parade of car horns and flags and people running down the road whipping their shirts around. A 2 minute drive to tim hortons turned into a half hour drive with non stop honking of cars and yelling of people. it was seriouslt so CRAZY!! then at tim hortons after we got our coffee we went outside and the intersection of south fraser and Gladwin had become a mosh pit!!!! people were banging drums and blaring music and dancing in the street, soooooo funny. Randomly bumped in to to CBC people and hung out in the street for awhile. Cops were everywhere trying to contain the crowds and traffic, uhhhhh so much craziness!!! Now i am back home and unpacking, i hate packing and unpacking. ANd soon i will be repacking for england, and then packing more to move in with Alysse!! uhhh to much moving around for me! Current mood:  bouncy.
wow, what to talk about... we had our end of the year BBQ at CBC, yummy free food and then a goodbye slide show and movie of the year, it makes a lot of people cry. But i didn't, last year was way more emotional then this year. Mostly because i had closer friendships last year and this year the 4 girls came and ruined my life! ok that was harsh but i blame them, ok again harsh but hey its true. Ya these 2 years have been so different, good and bad and utimatly when i look back at my CBC years i think, classes were boring, made some sweet friends, what the heck did i even do everyday, and why did God want me here? In Guatemala i felt that God wanted me to come here, that there was something for me here. and now that i'm almost done i don't see that at all. in fact i see nothing and i'm getting a certificate for something that i don't even want to do in life! Could i have been that wrong in coming? (i think i'm in a bad mood right now or else i wouldn't be writing this) and now that i'm done, what's out there for me? WORK! great, a life of work ahead of me, i see no good thing about it at this point. Another sucky thing is that Joel and his girlfriend broke up, she did it and he is crushed. Me Gill and him had a big convo last night about it. Apparently she just stoped liking him and was lying to him, mean mean girl doing that to Joel. Yet another sucky thing, i've been mad at Alsion for the past week because she pretty much told me, in front of Josh, that i have never convinced her of anything, and that i will never change her opinion on anything because i'm horrible at expressing my thoughts and feelings. Ya that made me feel good about myself! i know i'm not good at expressing my feelings, duh i'm an only child, its something i'm forever going to have to deal with. But she said it so harsly and so degrading to my character that i was almost in tears. And now tonight i find out that her and Josh kissed awhile ago and she never told me! i'm the roommate, cousin, friend, and she doesn't tell me! i would think that a first kiss is a big deal and yet she doesn't tell me and even now when i asked her she won't tell me how or when it happened. Are they that exclusive! if i had my first kiss i would tell you guys, i would want you to be part of my happiness and share it with you. is that so wrong! oh and to top off this so uplifting livejournal, i have to switch doctors, and to get in with this new doctor i have to go for a physical!!!!!!!!!!! gross! new man doctor poking me! gross! UGH!!! SO NOT IN A GOOD MOOD RIGHT NOW!!! this week seems like a month!!! i think its going so slowly cause i'm loking forward to the weekend so much. So monday i went over to Vanessas and i got to meet Stewert! he seems very normal, a good guy. And even though i sucked at dutch blitz it was still really fun. Tuesday i worked and then that night we had our supervisor practicum meeting and funniest thing ever! i'm back at treehouse for my practicum!!!! and i'm with Alison so now we offically do everything toegether, except when shes with josh of course, i hate being the thrid wheel and or the 5th wheel. Anyways so thats hillarious. Wednesday i went to inextreme and Matt was there i didn't get to say hi to him cause well i met him twice and its never going to happen now that hockey is over sooooo the end to that perfect plan. This week at school has been pretty somber cause not only is it the time we remember jesus death but a girl that went here died in an avalanche on monday and so that was really sad. Her boyfriend goes here too and so seeing him is really hard. On a lighter note i had lunch with Eric, Steve K, and Mike Froese today. it was very random but so fun. now i have to go and pick up my cousin from the airport and then its home to chilliwack for easter weekend! so much yummy food!!! can't wait! and yes Amy we will paint your room on saturaday, you better have all the walls washed and stuff cause i'm not doing that!!! hahaha. Current mood:  anxious.
Well i just got back from a fun night. After work Josh and Alison picked me up and we headed for the Bruins game. We could only get standing room tickets because it was a sold out game. Then we met Matt there, and his friend, (yes i was nervous, but it turns out that he doesn't know anything about his parents talking to my parents about me and him, so that way it wasn't awkward) first period we stood and scouted out some empty seats. And when we found some seats thet ended up being right below Matt and right beside 3 Bruins players who were out with injeries!!!!! Matt Esposito the goalie, and then number 4 and number 17, i forget their names, but i got their autographs!!!!!! which was sweet! my pen didn't really work so that was embarrasing but oh well hahaha. Anyways after a horribe game played by the Bruins we left and found Matt in the parking lot and decided to go to his house. He lives in a little house on his parents farm, very cute house. Him and Josh played play station and Alsion and i watched hahaha but it was still fun. Ok and now this is the part that i gush: Matt is so nice, and we seem to agree with everything (unlike Josh who likes to pick arguments with me all the time!) and he's a man not a boy which is a huge turn on!!!! and this may sound funny but you know people who get married tend to look like each other (example nate and maddie) well call me crazy but i think we look like each other. wow i could really like him. But i need to wait because i've seen alison and josh together and you can just tell that he likes her so much and he is the one doing all the persuing, she just waits for him to come to her and its amazing to see how much he wants her. I want that. I want the man to want me. hahaha its like that song that me and jeffery sang "i want you to want me, i need you to need me......" hahaha oh good times. Current mood:  contemplative.
So remember that story i told you guys about how i met these people at the hockey game and they wanted to set me up with their son Matt? Well....i met him!!!!! Last night alison and i went and picked up Josh and were on our way to inetreme and i mentioned that i have to find a guy there named Matt Quop (don't know how to spell the last name) Josh then says "Matt!!! i know him he's one of my best friends and in the same accountabilty group, you should totally hook up with him!" So josh calls him and makes sure that he is coming to inextreme. And so i got introduced and met him, and he is really good looking!!! blonde hair, tall but not to tall for me, and yes very good looking. Unfourtunatly he had to leave right away because he's a dariy farmer and has to get up early, so i didn't talk to him really at all. Only about the Bruins and how they made playoffs that was about it. So ya! very exciting!! Current mood:  happy.

UPDATES PEOPLE UPDATES thankyou Joanne Amalia Esau On Saturday it was Gillians birthday, so Jamsion, her cousin, told a me that everyone was going to meet at Red Robins at 7 and surprise her. So i go to the lounge and meet up with Dale and Travis and we go to Red Robins. NO ONE IS THERE! i call Gill, no answer, i forgot Jamisons number, Dale and Travis don't have cell phones. We call Cam and apparently everyone was there at 6 and they had gone somewhere else. Sooooooo we were hungry so we decided to have our own birthday dinner and stayed at Red Robins and the boys paid for my meal, hahaha. Came back to school and Dale and i went over to his house and made buns. It was really fun, we never get to hang out one on one so it was really fun. Then Chad and Alysse came home and we hung out. So instead of gills birthday i pretty much had a date with Dale hahaha. what a mix up. Yesterday was probably the best day of my life, well best day of the year! Megan and i drove down to Seattle and met up with Peter, Tamara, and Kevin for an outtatown reunion!!!!!! it was AMAZING i can't even describe how i felt seeing everyone. It had been 2 years!!! Kevin was out here for spring break and staying at Peters, and then Tamara drove up from Oragon. it seemed so sureal. So we meet at the olive Garden and i was walking beside Kevin and he pokes me and says "i just wanted to make sure you were real." (sigh, me melting at this point!)Kevin is still amazing, still gorgeous, AND he's in pre med right now, ya he's going to be a doctor!!! how hot is that!!! while we were eatting all of us would just stare at each other cause it was like looking at people you knew but didn't know, it was the wierdest feeling. We just talked about our lives after Guatemala and reminiced about the good times we had. AHHHHH it was so amazing! then went back to Peters house and looked at pictures and talked and talked and the day flew by and then it was time to go. shared some hugs and group hugs all around and wow it was so good! ya seriously best day ever! Current mood: ecstatic.
wow people, lack of updates. but i am at fault as well... so here it goes, i'll try to make my life sound exciting, haha this week has been pretty stressful because i had to do 2 circle times. One at MEI preschool where my supervisor came out to watch me do it, added pressure. And then i had to do a bible circle for class in front of all my friends and Gwen, again very scary. But i made it through both of them thank goodness and i got a lot of positive feed back so that was good but i'm glad they are over. fun things this week were going to vespers and then going to Ben and Allens house to watch Heroes, we watched 2 episodes and it was really intense and a whole bunch of people were there, YAY Heroes parties! went to inxtreme last night. I actually went by myself, first time ever doing that, but i've met people there who are becoming more then just friendly faces but friends so it was kind of fun to go out on my own and really connect with people that don't go to CBC. Also last night i came home to a room full of girls so we got out the chocolate and had a girls night, until Kevin came over but he's practically a girl since he shaved his legs the other day and was so proud of himself, yesh what a girl! Tonight i'm going to Jamison Dicks concert, he's playing here at CBC, woohoo. oh a good story to tell!!! a few weeks ago i went to a Bruins game with my dad and met this couple who my dad knows and they apparently knew me but hadn't seen me in 15 years or something like that. So i talked to the lady for awhile about what i'm doing and the whole ECE thing, lovley lovley whatever....And so then the next weekend when my dad went (i wasn't there) the couple started asking about me and asking my dad questions like "is she career orientated" "how old is she" "does she want to get married" they were asking questions because they have a 22 year old son who they want me to meet! And so the son, Matt, is apparently old fashioned in the sense that he wants his wife to be the house wife/stay at home mom thats why they asked the question if i was career orientated. My dad, thinking this was a great idea, told them i would rather be the stay at home mom then have a career, and so they all started scheeming about how to hook us up. So ya, his name is Matt he's 22, lives in a trailer on his parents farm, and he sometimes goes to inxtreme so maybe i've seen him before. oh and my dad says he's good looking but that means nothing coming from my dad HAHAHA. I don't know if i'll actually meet him but it's a pretty funny story. ok thats long enough, bye Current mood: content.
up: i got paid today down: i'm sick :( up: it snowed today!!!! crazy weather! down: i had supper and i'm still hungry up: Kevin made me a carmel apple down: i haven't done any homework this week, oops up: John from Starfield was at inxtreme!!! down:.......actually i can't think of any more downs.... up: outtatown reunion in 10 days!!! up up up .... ok Justine and Vanessa, i would like to be in the know about this whole going to visit Amy thing. I'm soooo jelous, well mostly really excited for you guys that you get to go, but still soooo jelous!!! when did this even happen?? i feel so out of the loop here! where the heck did you get the money to go? when are you even going? wow thats really exciting!!!!! Amy if your still there in Augest then i'm so coming to see you, stupid ECE and its summer school!this program is trying to ruin my life i think. I just got the schedual for the summer and its brutal. on most days we have class from 8 to 4:30! and our classroom is in the basement of the school with no windows! i'm going to become albino this summer!!! plus 37 days of practicum 8-5 without getting paid! OH MY WORD THIS SUMMER IS GOING TO SUCK!!! thats why i'll need a vacation in Augest and England seems like the perfect place to go haha. Current mood:  envious.
